Service Plaques
-
Pricing on service plaques depends upon size, number of engraved elements, and the finish. A plaque like the one shown is $105.00. Not only does it have several engraved elements, but three hand painted colors. The level of design and detail drive the amount of labor put into the plaques. Don't hesitate to contact us with your budget & needs, and we can probably make a nice service plaque that looks great, fits your budget, and honors the recipient.

1) How long does it take to receive my plaque? Generally about 14 to 21 calendar days. This of course is dependent on complexity and shipping.
2) How do I order a service plaque? Simply email jeremy@aptwrightservice.com and I will ask about the person you are honoring. We'll discuss the engraved elements you want on the plaque, colors and finishes. I'll send a proof for your approval, and once approved, I'll make it for you.
3) Do I pay up front? Since plaques are personalized and unique, we require a 50% deposit up front to get your project into our queue. Then you pay the remaining 50% at time of shipping, delivery, or pickup.
4) Do you only use oak for plaques? We keep oak on hand because it is stable, evenly colored, readily available, and standard for service plaques. However, feel free to either ask us for a different wood which we'll price upon request, or some people even have slabs of their own that they want us to use. That's perfectly fine.
5) What size are the plaques? They can be any size you want them to be. The one pictured is 10-1/2" x 14" which is a nice size plaque and is fairly common. We can make smaller plaques, and even larger plaques. Some plaques we make are in the shape of states, countries, and virtually any other shape. They really are customizable and only limited by your desires...
6) Why is the name blacked out on the display? We don't share or post personal information. If any pictures on our site have names, they represent imaginary people. Otherwise the names will be blacked out. You will be able to show off your plaque and the name of the recipient on social media where the viewers have been selected by you!
7) How do I hang the plaque? You can display service plaques however you want, but we make them with a centered nail-notch on the back, so they are ready to hang on a wall.
8) What is the deadline for ordering a Christmas Gift? During the holidays we ramp up production, so individual items take a little more time. If you want an item to be delivered so you can wrap it and put it under the tree by December 20th, then place your order no later than November 29th.
